  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 2 medium carrots, diced (optional, use sparingly for keto)

  • 500g ground lamb or beef

  • 1 tbsp tomato puree

  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce (ensure it's sugar-free)

  • 1 tsp fresh thyme (or ½ tsp dried thyme)

  • 1 tsp fresh rosemary (or ½ tsp dried rosemary)

  • 1 cup beef or lamb broth (look for low-carb options)

  • 1-2 diced courgettes

  • Salt & pepper to taste

For the Cauliflower Mash Topping:

  • 1 medium head cauliflower, chopped

  • 2 tbsp butter

  • Steam or boil the cauliflower until fork-tender (about 10-12 minutes).

  • Drain well and blend or mash with butter, heavy cream, salt, and pepper until smooth.

  • Mix in shredded cheese (if using) for a richer flavour.

2. Cook the Meat Filling

  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.

  • Sauté onion, garlic, and carrots (if using) until softened.

  • Add ground lamb or beef and cook until browned.

  • Stir in tomato paste, Worcestershire sauce, thyme, and rosemary.

  • Pour in broth and let simmer for 10-15 minutes until slightly thickened.
